Assembly of Structural and Body Elements in Composite and Plastic Materials for Electric Vehicles

The structural and body elements is a complex process that involves several stages. The initial phase consists in preparing the surfaces intended for bonding, which is carried out automatically by robots using plasma gas. Immediately afterwards, the structural and bodywork elements are joined together by screwing and the gluing operations. These production lines are divided into two major parts: the first part is dedicated to manufacturing large components such as the roof, battery holder frame, right side and left side of the car; the second part focuses on joining these large components through glueing, thereby creating the final structure of the car. It is important to note that in this operation, reference tools and robotic grippers of considerable size and complexity are employed.
