Permanent Magnet Electrical Assembly and Test

The first phase of assembly of permanent magnet motors consists in encapsulation of the magnets themselves within the rotors. Depending on the cycle time and the type of motor, the magnets can be inserted by the robot one by one or they can be prepared and placed in position by a specially built rigid machine. During the encapsulation operation, the gluing of the magnets is also carried out with glue dispensing by the same robot. In the following phases, Insertion of the shaft inside the rotor with associated seal rings is carried out. At the end of the entire process, a verification of correct assembly is carried out using 2D and 3D vision system.
