Post Machining Aluminum Part Finishing

The finishing processes of aluminum components, such as gear reducers for engine transmission or flap actuators, are carried out with a configuration that involves the use of a mobile positioner with controlled axes. This system allows for optimal positioning of the objects for each machining operation. Additionally, there is a dedicated storage for pneumatic spindles that can be automatically connected or disconnected on the robot. Alternatively, exclusively SIR produced electrospindles with automatic tool change are used. In addition to the traditional grinding and finishing operations, threading and drilling operations can also be performed. The programming of these operations is done in off-line mode, ensuring time savings, precision and control. Furthermore, there is an automatic tool wear control system in place to ensure optimal results during the machining process.
