The operations conducted include, initially, unloading the gigapresses and the subsequent robotic cutting of the sprues using integrated plasma torches onboard the robot, ensuring extreme precision in the cutting process. Subsequently, deburring can be carried out using abrasive tools.
The plasma nozzle is automatically changed at the end of its life cycle, ensuring consistent and safe performance during the process. Furthermore, the programming of cutting paths is done in off-line mode, allowing a consistent time saving and a efficient production operation planning.
